
Who We Are
Northeastern Energy Consulting, Inc. (NECI) was founded in January 1992 by Michael J. Zentz to provide engineering services to the Appalachian Basin. Since its inception, NECI has been continuously providing its clients with quality engineering and consulting services through its experienced and highly trained professionals.
Michael J. Zentz, President
Michael J. Zentz is President of NECI and NECI’s affiliated companies. Mr. Zentz is a petroleum engineer with a B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to forming NECI, Mr. Zentz was the Engineering Manager for Eastern American Energy Corporation in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. Zentz has over twenty-five years of petroleum engineering experience in the Appalachian Basin and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Andrew Iezzi, Vice President & Engineering Manager
Mr. Iezzi has over twenty years of oil and gas experience. Prior to joining NECI in 2000, Mr. Iezzi was a petroleum engineer for Cabot Oil & Gas for over 11 years. Mr. Iezzi holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering (Petroleum Option) and a M.S. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Iezzi is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Kimberly J. Gallagher, Vice President & General Counsel
Kimberly J. Gallagher is Vice President & General Counsel for NECI and its affiliated companies. Ms. Gallagher graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. degree in political science and geography. She earned her Law Degree from Duquesne University School of Law where she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. Ms. Gallagher has been a practicing attorney in Pennsylvania for over twenty-three years and with NECI since 2003.
Richard ("Pat") Parsons, Drilling Engineer
Mr. Parsons is a Petroleum Engineer with a B.S. degree from West Virginia University. Mr. Parsons has been with NECI since 2004 and has over thirty-eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry. This experience includes drilling and completion work in the Appalachian Basin, Michigan Basin, and the Ark-La-Tex areas of the Southeastern US. Recent work has focused on the horizontal drilling and stimulation of unconventional reservoirs.
